Steel Panther LIVE at The Rave- PHOTO REVIEW- 12/10/17

102.9 The Hog has presented The Rave Eagles Club with some phenomenal shows for the not so silent night series. First Papa Roach, now a crazy night with Steel Panther, a 4 piece band from Los Angeles, California. The 2017 Girls in a Row Tour is the perfect treat before the holidays!

Opening this bizarre night was Diamante, a 4 piece band from Boston, Massachusetts. Steel Panther is known for the beautiful ladies. There’s no doubt that Diamante was the perfect band to bring on tour with them being fronted by the gorgeous Gal, Diamante. Female fronted bands are few and far between, but Diamante is a power house and held the crowd’s attention. They even busted out a Skid Row cover.

Of course, the most fabulous and funny group of four guys from Los Angeles, Steel Panther. Steel Panther delivers the best of both worlds. They put the glam in glam metal, and keep things very comedic while they are at it. They make the best cracks at each other and the crowd, and the lyrics to their songs are humorous. You never know who Steel Panther will bring on stage to spice things up a bit. Sunday night at The Rave they brought up a cowboy to sing a legendary song “Eruption/You Really Got Me” by Van Halen, and there was not one face that didn’t have a smile on it in that crowd. There was also many beautiful ladies up on stage with Steel Panther. Of course Steel Panther delivered some fan favorite songs including “Asian Hooker”, “Wasted Too Much Time”, “Community Property”, opening up the show with “Supersonic Sex Machine” and many more. Satchel wowed the crowd with his shredding capabilities on his dazzling green guitar. Lexxi Foxx, Michael Starr, Stix and Satchel, the geniuses of Steel Panther, are good for the soul. Leaving a show with sore cheeks from smiling and laughing so much are always a great feeling. Please, do yourself a favor and catch Steel Panther at a show near you!
